Michigan Healthy School Water Campaign

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) received a federal grant for testing school and child care facility water for lead. The goal of this program is to reduce childhood lead exposure and provide quality drinking water which is critical to a child’s overall health, development and performance. Trio worked with EGLE and TriMedia Environmental & Engineering to develop an outreach plan to educate schools on the dangers of lead in drinking water and encourage testing. Work included development and design of marketing plan and all educational materials that were distributed to every district state-wide.
